The social network Facebook announced new opportunities for users to customize the news feed. It is now possible to choose chronological rather than algorithmic display of the news feed located in the adjacent tab, according to the company's blog.

Users previously could view the feed in chronological order, but to navigate, they had to change the settings. Now such a tab will be located directly next to the news feed.

In addition, you can select the issue option, in which news from profiles and pages added to Favorites will be shown first, and then all others. 30 authors will be allowed to be added to the list of favorite sources.

Another new Facebook feature allows you to restrict comments on posts. Now three options are available: so that anyone can leave messages to public posts, only friends, or only profiles marked in the post. Users will be able to control who they want to discuss a particular topic with, and limit communication with unwanted contacts.

Earlier Facebook announced that users will be able to earn from Stories. The social network will be able to add promotional stickers in short videos, users will be able to receive royalties from them.
